As we look towards Anzac Day, we join with the Spitfire Association in honouring these Spitfire pilots and thank them for their service during WWII.

Spitfires flying in clouds

SQNLDR Adrian Philip Goldsmith DFC DSM, an Australian flying ace of the Second World War. Officially credited with shooting down over 16 enemy aircraft while serving with the Royal Australian Air Force; Goldsmith scored over 12 of his victories during the Siege of Malta.

FLTLT Charles Walter Bewick Hack, a distinguished RAF Flight Lieutenant who piloted Spitfires in defence of Darwin during WWII and later became a prominent figure in the Australian film industry.

FLTLT Robert 'Bob' Cunningham, a distinguished pilot whose service during WWII exemplifies courage and dedication.

We will remember them. Lest We Forget.
