On this Remembrance Day, we join the Spitfire Association in honouring the courage and sacrifice of the Spitfire pilots and crew who bravely defended our freedom in World War II.


We pay special tribute to Squadron Leader Robert Wilton Bungey DFC, an extraordinary pilot who completed numerous bombing and reconnaissance missions in northern France, participated in a critical raid on the bridge at Maastricht in Holland, and fought valiantly in the Battle of Britain.
